Dear
Stephen:
Thanks
so much for coming to the Ridgefield Library last Thrusday
evening. Your one-man play "An Evening With Walt Whitman" was
truly incredible, both the quality of the play itself and
your flawless performance of it.
The
play was dense, humorous, moving and intelligent. The way
you wove Whitman's own writings throughout was inspired and
came across seamlessly. As soon as I can find time to visit
a books store -- I'm buying myself a copy of "Leaves
of Grass!"
We
would definitely love to have you back next spring with your
play about Emerson.
Regards,
Lesley Lambton
